Jered

Jered was founded in 1946 and states that its products have been used on every U.S. Navy surface combatant class ship since World War II. The company employs over 150 people and has its headquarters in Brunswick, Georgia, with offices across North America and in the United Kingdom.

Jered was acquired in 2005 by PAR Systems, a supplier of complex manufacturing equipment for the marine, life science, aerospace and nuclear industries. It is the original equipment manufacturer for the Jered, Unidynamics, Marine Systems Technology (MST), American Heavy Industries and NETEC product lines.

The company combines design engineering with heavy fabrication and works on first-of-a-kind developments such as electric anchor windlasses, electric aircraft elevators and electric stern gates.
