Napier Turbochargers

Napier is based at Ruston House in Lincoln, United Kingdom. The company states that it has over 80 years of experience in turbocharging and that its engineers have produced more than 50,000 turbochargers for marine, power generation and rail applications.

In February 2013 Napier was bought by Wabtec Corporation, a global provider of technology-based products and services primarily for the rail and transit industry, and it now presents itself as a Wabtec company. The site says Wabtec is committed to further investment in research and development at Napier.

The Napier name has a 200-year engineering history that includes printing presses, franking machines, cars and aero engines. Service centres around the world provide maintenance when vessels come into port.
