Control and energy-management software for hybrid and electric vessels, part of ABB's integrated bridge and power-system offering.
ABB pairs its electric and hybrid power systems with automation and energy-management software. The Power and Energy Management System (PEMS) coordinates gensets, batteries and loads on hybrid and electric vessels. ABB Ability Marine Pilot Control provides joystick-based manoeuvring on the bridge and is modular, so it can be upgraded towards higher levels of automation.
