Azipod XO

Azipod XO is the high-power Azipod variant, intended for cruise ships, large ferries and other large vessels. Like the rest of the range, it is a gearless steerable pod with the electric motor mounted inside the submerged pod unit, which allows 360° thrust vectoring without a separate rudder. It sits at the upper end of the Azipod open-water power range, which ABB gives as 1–22 MW.
