Built-up propellers with bolted blades that can be replaced under water.
Wärtsilä built-up propellers have individually bolted blades that can be replaced under water without dry-docking, which reduces downtime after blade damage. They are used on vessels where operational availability is critical. Built-up propellers complement Wärtsilä's monobloc fixed-pitch and controllable-pitch propellers, which come from the former Lips business, and they can be combined with energy-saving devices.
