Large-bore 600 rpm engine of 7.5–20 MW in diesel, dual-fuel, methanol-ready and methanol versions.
The Wärtsilä 46F family delivers 7.5–20 MW at 600 rpm from 6L to 16V configurations. It is offered as diesel (HFO, LFO, biofuel), 46DF dual-fuel (LNG), methanol-ready and 46F Methanol (1,250 kW/cyl in methanol mode, in development). Main applications are large ferries, RoRo vessels and dredgers.
