Wärtsilä 34DF
Fuel-flexible dual-fuel engine with 500 kW/cyl (up to 8 MW) for small LNG carriers, OSVs, tugs and gensets.
The Wärtsilä 34DF runs on LNG, HFO or biofuel, with fuel sharing (0–100% gas). It is offered from 6L to 16V at 500 kW per cylinder for main engines, up to 520 kW per cylinder for 720–750 rpm gensets, and a maximum mechanical output of 8,000 kW. It is used for mechanical or gas-electric propulsion and auxiliary power on small LNG carriers, offshore support vessels and tugs.
