Power drives, DC-hub power distribution and energy management for hybrid and electric vessels.
Alongside the HY module, Wärtsilä supplies electrical power systems for hybrid vessels. These include PTO/PTI shaft generator drives, DC-hub power distribution, energy storage integration and an energy management system that routes power between engines, batteries and propulsion. Wärtsilä reports more than 1,000 of its PTO systems installed worldwide.
