Max Power was founded in 1987 and was initially established in Mandelieu, France. At the end of 2011 the complete production, assembly and dispatch moved to Monza, Italy, and since 2013 the company has invested in its production procedures, quality systems and logistics, including a tailor-made warehouse management system and an SAP ERP system.

With more than 25 years of experience in designing and manufacturing leisure marine products, the brand offers a full vessel manoeuvrability range from simple tunnel thrusters to top-of-the-range retractable thrusters.

The website is operated by Lalizas Italia s.r.l. Unipersonale, with its address in Cambiago near Milan, Italy. Max Power holds its distributor conventions together with the Lofrans brand.
