About
SAIM was founded in 1951 and became a supplier to large Italian automotive groups and to companies in the marine and industrial sectors. It is organised in three business units: SAIM Marine, SAIM Industrial and SAIM Engineering.
SAIM Marine was founded in 1993. It works alongside shipyards in project development and is present with direct assistance on the coasts of Italy, France, Slovenia, Croatia and other countries.
The headquarters are in Buccinasco near Milan, with branches in Sala Bolognese (Bologna) and Viareggio; the registered office of SAIM S.p.A. is in Milan. The group reports a total area of 9,000 square metres, a 2025 turnover of 40 million euro, 28,000 articles under management and 5,000 customers. AMP and Incofin are shown as SAIM Group companies.
