About
Ulstein was founded in 1917 and is a third-generation, family-owned Norwegian group. Ulstein Group ASA is the holding company, based at Osnesvegen 110 in Ulsteinvik, Norway. The inverted X-BOW hull concept was launched in 2005 together with the first shipbuilding contract, and more than 120 vessels with this bow are sailing or under construction worldwide. It was later followed by the X-STERN.
